Extra resources for your Sessions and where to find them

resources_table_smaller.jpg

There are lots of resources you could potentially take along to an Information Session. Think about your audience and what might be of most interest to them. Taking along a few reference copies, along with the Publications catalogue can show your group what resources are out there and how to order them.

Top tip: Put a 'Reference Copy' sticker on your resources so you don’t have to reorder for each Session. Anyone who is interested can have a look at your reference copy and you can show them how to order their own copy.

Taking along copies of the adapted resources for Dementia Friends Sessions can also be a good way to find new audiences – consider taking copies of the Children & young people’s handbook, the Learning disabilities handbook or the BAME Communities Information Session Resources. Someone at your Session might see one and be prompted to think about a group they know who would be interested in a Dementia Friends Session.
