Public Awareness Session During the 13th World Alzheimer's Month!

This session will be led by Claire Puckey (Community Development Lead, Dementia Friendly Parishes Around the Yealm). September is World Alzheimer’s Month, an international campaign to raise dementia awareness and challenge stigma. Alzheimer’s and dementia associations, alongside all those involved in the treatment, care and support of people living with dementia, from around the world unite to organise advocacy and information provision events as well as memory walks and fundraising days. Please come and join us over a free cuppa for this interactive and informative session. You will learn a bit about how dementia affects a person, the small things you can do to help and support that is available locally and nationally-Everyone welcome!
